Custom-made tango shoes — also called bespoke tango shoes — solve this by being built to YOUR measurements, in YOUR chosen color, with YOUR specifications. At Madreselva, custom orders include free dyeing and free width adjustments, the same hand-construction as our standard shoes, with delivery in 3-4 weeks worldwide.

The Madreselva Custom Order Process

Step 1 — Pick Your Base Model

Browse our tango shoes collection and pick the silhouette you love. The base model determines the construction template — strap style, toe shape, heel position. Everything else (color, material, width) is customizable on top of the base.

Step 2 — WhatsApp Viviana

Message Viviana directly at WhatsApp +54 9 11 3244-6849. Send: (1) your foot measurements (length + width in mm), (2) the model code you chose, (3) any color reference (Pantone code, fabric photo, or color name like “champagne ivory”), (4) any special requests (heel adjustment, engraving). Viviana responds personally within hours during Buenos Aires business hours.

Step 3 — Quote + Confirmation

Viviana sends you a quote with: total price (base model + any premium materials), estimated delivery date (typically 3-4 weeks), payment options (PayPal, Wise bank transfer, credit card via secure link). Once you confirm, your shoes enter the production queue.

Step 4 — Production (2-3 weeks)

Your shoes are hand-lasted in our Palacio de los Lirios atelier. You receive 1-2 photo updates during construction so you can confirm color/details before the final stitching. If anything looks off, we adjust before completion at no extra cost.

Step 5 — Shipping (7-10 business days)

FedEx International Priority worldwide. You receive a tracking number the day they ship. Delivery: USA 3-7 days, Europe 4-8 days, Japan 5-9 days.

I visited a few shops during my visit and this one was by far my favorite (also where I spent all of my money lol). I found beautiful quality clothing and very pretty and comfortable shoes. The girls were also extremely nice, helping me out in finding what I was looking for. I have large but small feet (appealing, huh?) and I was able to find a shoe that was comfortable and that I didn’t need to break into! I also got a few outfits that make me feel like a sexy princess :) I love them. The only bad experience I had - which actually made me want to ditch all of my articles and leave, was with the girl handling payments. She really acted in an extremely rude and mean way to me. She was pissed because I was asking the different payment options / wanted to check if we could try the QR code with Mercado pago (and that if they would be additional fees, I would ofc pay). It was just a question / trying to figure things out, and with her attitude I gave up pretty quickly as I just wanted to get out of there and just paid by card - but I was really shocked at her attitude. I came twice and the first time I did she was already quite stressed but at least not disrespectful… Anyways, I’ll just assume she had a terrible day and took it sadly on me. If you read this comment, I would highly recommend to work on your attitude as it ruins the hard work of all of your coworkers. Still giving 5 stars as it’s a beautiful shop with very sweet employees and quality articles. Thank you for everything!
